The journey

Seven nights is the length most people wish they had booked. Five on the coast at Kuta and two inland at Ubud, with the transfer between them handled and nothing else fixed — so the week bends around what you actually feel like doing. Tours are added a day at a time through your consultant.

Day by day

How the 8 days actually run.

  1. Day 01

    Arrival, Kuta

    Arrive at Ngurah Rai, private transfer to your hotel, evening at leisure.

  2. Day 02

    Kuta

    A free day. The beach is a few minutes on foot and the restaurants start at the end of the road.

  3. Day 03

    Kuta

    Free again — the day most people use for Uluwatu and the Kecak dance at sunset.

  4. Day 04

    Kuta

    Free. A good day for the water sports at Tanjung Benoa or a boat across to Nusa Penida.

  5. Day 05

    Kuta

    Last coastal day, at leisure.

  6. Day 06

    Transfer to Ubud

    Check out after breakfast and drive inland — about ninety minutes. Afternoon free among the galleries and the rice terraces.

  7. Day 07

    Ubud

    A full day in Ubud. Kintamani and the coffee plantations are an easy morning from here if you want them.

  8. Day 08

    Departure

    Breakfast, checkout and private transfer to the airport.
