The travel around the treatment

Medical Travel

We arrange the journey, not the treatment — medical visas, flights that can move, a stay near the hospital, and transfers that run to the ward's timetable.

Your doctor chooses the hospital. We make everything around it work. Champion arranges the medical visa for the patient and an attendant, flights booked so the dates can move when treatment dates do, accommodation close enough to the hospital to walk from, and daily transfers. We have looked after travel for doctors at Chennai hospitals for years; this is the same work, turned towards the patient. We do not select hospitals, advise on care, or quote for treatment.

What we handle

  • Medical visa documentation — patient and attendant
  • Flights booked on fares that can be changed
  • Accommodation close to the hospital, priced for long stays
  • Daily hospital transfers, to the ward's timetable
  • Dates moved at short notice when treatment slips
  • Attendant's travel arranged alongside the patient's
  • One named coordinator, office hours
  • Nothing about your treatment discussed or recorded by us

How Champion runs it

  1. What we do, and what we do not

We are a travel company, not a healthcare provider. We do not choose your hospital, recommend a specialist, give any medical opinion, or quote for treatment — your doctor does that, and we work to their schedule. Everything on this page is the travel: the visa, the flights, the room, the car.

  2. Dates that can move

The thing that goes wrong in medical travel is the cheap ticket. A procedure gets pushed a week and a non-changeable fare has to be bought again. We quote flights on fares that can be moved and tell you what each change costs before you book — usually a little more up front, and far less than rebooking.

  3. The visa, and the attendant's visa

Medical-visa documentation for the patient and for the person travelling with them, prepared together so they are not granted weeks apart. The hospital issues the letter the consulate needs; we assemble everything around it and track the application.

  4. Near enough to walk

Accommodation is chosen for distance from the hospital entrance and for what a long stay actually costs, not for a star rating. Where a service apartment suits a family better than a hotel, we say so.

What we arrange

  • Medical visas
  • Changeable flights
  • Long-stay accommodation
  • Daily hospital transfers
  • Attendant travel
  • Extended and amended stays
  • Travel insurance

Common questions

Do you recommend hospitals or doctors?
No. We are a travel company and we have no clinical expertise, no hospital tie-ups and no arrangement that would pay us to send you anywhere. Choose your hospital with your doctor, tell us where and when, and we will build the travel around it.
Have you done a lot of this?
Honestly, not yet — we are opening this properly and we would rather say so. What we do have is thirty-five years of visa and ticketing work, and years of arranging travel for doctors at Chennai hospitals. The travel side of a medical trip is work we know; the treatment side was never ours.
Can someone travel with the patient?
Yes, and it is usually the part that gets left too late. We prepare the attendant's visa documentation alongside the patient's so the two are not granted weeks apart, and arrange accommodation that suits both.
What happens if the treatment date changes?
Tell us as soon as you know. Because we quote changeable fares for medical trips, moving the flights is usually a fee rather than a fresh booking, and the hotel and transfers move with them.
