Two nights in Da Nang and two in Hanoi, with the sight each city is genuinely known for: a full day at Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge, then the Old Quarter on foot with a water puppet show. There is no Hoi An here and no Ha Long Bay — those are the five- and six-night versions of this same route, and the extra money buys a whole day in each case rather than a longer description. Four nights is the honest minimum for this pairing.
