Vietnam, Da Nang and the Golden Bridge
5★ hotel in Da Nang · Breakfast · Airport transfers
A morning in the cloud at fifteen hundred metres, and a beach to come back down to.

Vietnam
One night where the only thing outside the window is water.
The same five nights as the family routing, built at a different speed. A balcony cabin on the bay rather than an inside one, the Old Quarter street food walk on the first evening, dinner on the Saigon River, and a full day in the city with nothing scheduled in it. Every transfer and tour is private, which on a honeymoon is the whole difference between a holiday and a coach.
Day by day
Arrive, transfer in, and an Old Quarter street food walk in the evening — five or six stops on foot with a guide who eats there.
Hanoi old quarter
A half-day city tour taken slowly — the Temple of Literature, Hoan Kiem, the French quarter. The afternoon and evening are deliberately unbooked.
Drive to the coast and board around midday. Lunch aboard, Sung Sot Cave, kayaking, and sunset from your own balcony rather than the sun deck.
Ha Long Bay
Morning on the bay, brunch aboard, then the drive back to Hanoi for the afternoon flight south. Dinner on the Saigon River in the evening.
Nothing at all is scheduled. The Cu Chi tunnels, the Mekong or the AO Show at the Opera House are all half a day from your door, and your consultant will book any of them — but the day is yours to leave empty.
